Extreme Masters had two matches on the schedule yesterday - wooSai met x6tence and aTTaX faced the WCG Champions McPoker.emL.

x6tence hasn't been performing well in the Extreme Masters, having lost all of their matches before the meeting with wooSai. Starting the match at dust2, most people expected the Danes to pick up a comfortable win. It didn't turn out that way, though.

The Spanish top team laid a great pressure on wooSai who was more than troubled with getting the match under control. The ordinary play time ended up with the score 15-15 and proceeded to overtime. And what a thriller. Both teams followed each other all the way up to the score 36-32 to x6tence - I don't know what the statistics say but I think I've some reason in assuming that it's a possible candidate for the longest overtime ever.

Having lost the first map, wooSai needed to turn the match on the two following maps, nuke and cbble. The match continued to be very close but wooSai managed to pick up the longer straw at both maps, winning 16-12 at nuke and 16-13 at cbble.

German aTTaX had a tough match ahead, meeting the French team McPoker.emL. The match began at dust2 and proved to be a tight affair. The WCG Champions closed the map in the very last round, winning 16-14. At the next map, nuke, aTTaX was without a doubt the superior team and equalizes by winning the map with 16-8. The final map was train and it looks like McPoker.emL needs to practice that map a bit - the French champions was completely overrun, being crushed with convincing 16-3.
